Where's the sixth star? I want to rate this place higher than five!
My parents live in the area, and I am out here visiting with my dog Dakota. While here, I noticed she had developed what looked to be a ruptured cyst. I called the vet and got my pup in that same day. They looked at the cyst, recommended a couple different options, and upon my request put together a thorough treatment plan - surgery to remove the cyst, pain meds, etc. They even let me know they could clean her teeth while she was under anesthesia, because I mentioned my vet saying something about that. My pup got the cyst removed the very next morning, and everything went smoothly. The vet said Dakota spent her recovery time in the office on a blankie.
Update 7/25/2016: We had to have our cat put to sleep today. My kids all wanted to go and I was a little nervous, but the staff was so respectful and understanding that the experience was as good as you could hope for under the circumstances. Thank you so much!
I was blown away by the friendliness, welcoming atmosphere, and wonderfully thorough explanations of the issue and treatment options. I wish I could move this clinic out to Colorado, because I would go to them in a heartbeat. Instead, I'll just recommend that you do!
Dr Johnson is the sweetest doctor on the planet. She always listens to everything I'm worried about when it comes to what's best for my dog and she doesn't make me feel like a crazy dog mom! She doesn't charge outrageous prices or do unnecessary tests to get your money. I drive a decent distance to bring my dog to her and I will continue to drive wherever if she ever moves her practice. I can count on 1 hand how many people I trust with my doctor and she is definitely up on that list! We love you Dr. Johnson
i met doc while she was working at adare vet clinic in belleville and she took amazing care of my family dog.you could really tell she was there because she deeply cares for animals. when she started her own practice 20 miles away, we felt traveling that far was well worth it. the price is right and the care is fantastic. she has the best vet techs anyone could ask for. Their knowledge and love of the animals also shine through. i would highly recommend johnsons to anyone, they make you feel like part of the family.
